Exstream Software, Inc. announced positive reports from EDB IT Operations, a leading center of expertise for the development and operation of IT solutions in the Nordic region of Europe.

With approximately 3,400 employees and presence in all major cities of Norway and Sweden, EDB initially selected Exstream’s Dialogue software to develop more sophisticated document applications that included personalization and color. Using Dialogue, EDB reports significant savings in document development time, testing and reprinting costs. Further savings have been realized with Dialogue’s robust barcode functionality, which eliminated the need for EDB’s post-processing software.

Exstream Software, Inc. today announced positive reports from NORSIK–Norway's leading producer of cards and card-related services. With centers in Stavanger and Oslo, Norway, as well as in Sweden and Finland, NORSIK is the market leader for providing credit cards, loyalty cards and ID cards to enterprises in the postal, banking, and financial services industries across Norway. NORSIK initially selected Dialogue for its robust capabilities to produce fully personalized communications of all types with integrated variable marketing campaigns and color. Once implemented, the company found many other ways it could capitalize on Dialogue to streamline internal processes and extend its client offerings—including the ability to deliver simultaneous PDF output for emailing and archival. NORSIK also reports improved ability to adopt new customers and sell more to existing ones using Dialogue—particularly when working with marketing departments.

"With Dialogue, we have changed our entire marketing and sales strategy," said Karl-Richard Floer, head of research and development at NORSIK. "Where we once approached customers as an outsourced provider, we now approach them with our ability to offer a total marketing communications solution."

Looking to the future, NORSIK plans to use even more of Dialogue’s capabilities to extend solutions it provides clients. In particular, the company will further capitalize on Dialogue’s integrated marketing and campaign tracking capabilities.

"NORSIK is a good example of a firm that is maximizing the total value Dialogue offers," said Kjell Beisland, managing director of Exstream Nordic. "We are pleased to see the success NORSIK has experienced using Dialogue so far, and are excited by the company’s vision to extend its capabilities even further in the future.”
